CONTENT WRITING

Writing has always been hard for me. I hate books (despite having a journalist/writer dad). I never do well in high school Literature (despite having a grandma who taught it). My hands-writing is only better than doctors and I'm also a pure auditory learner. Even when I started to write more often with my blogs and my position as Content Leader at Brands Vietnam, writing has never been easy. Nor should it be. A great piece of writing could feed you for the rest of your life and last multiple life time. So yes, writing has always been hard for me because great things take time.

My time with Brands Vietnam was short but sweet. Before joining here, I don't think I can write let alone lead and train writers. But when my team needs me, I showed up.

I tried my best to improve my team's marketing mindset, logical thinking and creative tactics, hence improving their writing overall. "You have to be able to think it before you can write it". We would have weekly story-telling class, movie analyzing sessions and even basics on psychology. As a writer, I invested a lot of time in making each article on Brands Vietnam unique. I take pride in structuring the article, pivoting between paragraphs and phrasing sentences in a way that would retain readers' attention but at the same time improve the skimability of the article.

Grab was facing heated political attack from traditional taxi regarding how its too freely operating. To sway the public opinion in its favor, Grab needs convincing arguments and a carefully crafted content strategy on the media.

This is the 1st project I won and executed at EloQ Communications. Sharing economy and sandbox are all really tough topics to innovate but we managed to produce 20+ unique pieces of articles.

Both Maia Resort and Holiday Inn positioned themselves as luxury accomodation destination. Both have very high standard regarding content quality. Maia Resort is more into long form articles that transcend the beauty of Quy Nhon to the readers while Holiday Inn prefers short, engaging social content that highlight the perks of staycation.

Infobip is a software company specializing in the SASS industry that is looking to penetrate Vietnam market. On the other hand, TUV Rheinland has been the top technical testing organization since 1872. These clients require articles that contain in-depth understanding of their complex industry with simplify style of wording for the viewers interest. My team and I had to dig through countless materials to write them the perfect articles. The clients really love the final product, which makes the whole process worth it.

In 2017, I started to write for my blog as a suggestion to cure my boredom from my colleague. My ideas were constantly being shot down at work so the creativity spark was dying faster than the spread of Corona virus. This blog is a way to sharpen my thoughts as well as documenting my great random ideas rather than focusing on increasing the views for monetary purposes.

I take pride in my blog. My flare and personalities are carefully woven into every single line of texts. Every words and puns are chosen carefully. Every article unique in its own right. If you have time, read slowly and the magic will appear before your eyes.
